Paul has worked so hard for the choir and has been amazing keeping us going through COVID and thriving in the last few years. He will be much missed. We say a big Thank You to Paul.

Founded in 1997, Airedale Male Voice Choir is still enjoying singing, practicing and performing concerts to a high standard.
John Smith retired in 2017 after 20 years as Founder and Musical Director. John’s work developed an excellent choir that is part of and entertains the local community.
Paul Harris took over the reins as our Musical Director collaborating with Susan Watkiss our accompanist and together are taking us forward. We are a small choir of around 20 voices but want to continue to grow.
The Choir continues to be well known for it eclectic mix of songs and lovely harmonies, encompassing the Male Voice Choir traditional repertoire and expanding into more modern material. The power of our musical history should not be underestimated.
Through our 8 to 10 concerts per year, over 24 years, we have raised over £150,000 for local charities.
Our concerts consist of songs by the choir interspersed with soloists invited specially or from within the choir.
We are always looking for new members to join the choir or to sing as soloists and would welcome anyone interested to visit us at our regular choir practices on Tuesday nights starting 7.30 pm. at Steeton Methodist Church. Please contact Paul Harris on 07511 093903 for more information.
Partially due to Gareth Malone’s ‘The Choir’. choral singing is having a renaissance in the UK and across the country people are discovering the joy of communal singing.
Singing in a choir is good for your health and healing for your soul. So why not consider joining our choir?
